Lebenslauf: Als Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur arbeite ich seit über 25 Jahren mit dem Thema Lean. Meine Karriere begann bei Volkswagen unter anderem als Senior Lean Berater und Coach sowie als Gründungsmitglied der Volkswagen Consulting. Anschließend sammelte ich weitere Erfahrungen indem ich für andere großen deutsche Fertigungsunternehmen als Leiter für das Lean Thema fungierte. 2018 bin ich zu Toyota gekommen und durfte meine Erfahrungen mit dem Original Toyota Produktionssystem auf dem Shopfloor erweitern. Ich habe über 40 große Lean-Implementierungsprojekte in verschiedenen Branchen durchgeführt und bin Autor der DIV Veröffentlichung "Prozessoptimierung durch KVP: Eine Erfolgsstrategie zur Verbesserung auch Ihres Bereichs". Meine Erfahrungen haben mich zu folgendem Schluss veranlasst: "Es gibt so viele Menschen, die Kosten berechnen können, und nur wenige, die den wahren Lean Wert messen können."

Biography: I am proud member of Toyota since 1996. During my career in Toyota I have been practicing TPS in various positions and environments such as manufacturing, supplier development, logistics, etc. My previous role working directly with TPS included Production Engineering, New Investment, Kaizen Supplier, and Industrialization Manager. I have visited Japan about twenty times for TPS training and other projects, and I have had the benefit of learning TPS mainly from 5 Toyota Sensei's. My current role is Regional Manager & Senior TPS Advisor (West of Europe).

Denis Bosser

Biography: I have joined Toyota in 2004, and have since covered different positions, from production engineering, up to the complete manufacturing responsibility (including production, logistics, manufacturing quality and maintenance). For 15 years I have managed and deployed TPS in one of the Toyota facilities in Europe. I have been trained and educated by 4 Japanese senseis, each of them specialised in different areas of the operation. The Toyota way is part of my DNA now, and it requires persistence, dedication and practice.

I am highly experienced in optimization and process improvement, with a deep consulting background and a methodical approach, following one of the most iconic quotes from Taiichi Ohno, who once said: "Where there is no standard there can be no Kaizen."

Sam Nomura

Nomura-san is our undisputable TPS sensei with more than 50 years of experience of implementing TPS in the Toyota group. First in senior leadership positions internationally in Toyota Motor Corporation and after that moving to Toyota Industries Corporation taking the role as Senior TPS advisor during 10 years to Toyota Material Handling Group (TMHG).
